Mars-Meteorit

ACHTUNG – SPERRFRIST 20. NOVEMBER 19.00 UHR – HANDOUT – A meteorite from Northwest Africa called NWA 7533 may be the first recognized example of ancient Martian crust, according to data presented in Nature (undated Handout). The meteorite contains crustal minerals called zircons that are over 4.4 billion years old, providing evidence that early crustal differentiation on Mars occurred in the first 100 million years of its history.
